  Chandigarh, October 31, 2026: Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has provided ‘X’ category security to families of Parvinder Singh Jhota and Gulzar Singh.
  
  CRPF personnel have been deputed with the families of both. Parvinder Singh Jhota was shot dead by a chemist whereas Gulzar Singh had committed suicide after confronting Finance Minister Harpal Cheema.
  
  Union Home Minister Amit Shah had recently met families of both these persons apart from Bikramjit Singh from Gurdaspur.
