  Chandigarh, November 1, 2026: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday claimed that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) would form the next government in Punjab.
  
  Making the assertion during his visit to Chandigarh, Shah expressed confidence that the NDA would come to power in the state in the upcoming Assembly elections.
  
  His statement comes ahead of the 2027 Punjab Assembly elections, in which political parties are preparing for a fresh electoral contest.
