From Lynching to Hackings, Bangladesh Bleeds Hindu Blood While the World Watches in Silence: Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal Bhukhri Kalan
Ludhiana, 7 January 2026: National BJP Leader Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal Bhukhri Kalan said that he on behalf of his Punjab and his country Bharat outrightly condemns and exposes the barbaric targeted killing of Hindus in Bangladesh from Dipu Chandra Das to the latest murder of Sarat Chakraborty.
Grewal stated through his official social media platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, Instagram, Threads and especially X that what the world is witnessing in Bangladesh from December 2025 till today is not crime it is not coincidence it is not law and order failure. It is a systematic campaign of terror against Hindus carried out with open hatred and protected by silence.
Grewal told that on 18 December 2025 Hindu youth Dipu Chandra Das was lynched by a mob in Mymensingh beaten tied to a tree and burned alive. No crime. No dispute. No proof. Only one identity Hindu. This was medieval savagery not a modern society.
He said that just days later on 24 December 2025 another Hindu Amrit Mondal was beaten to death by a mob in Rajbari. Again no reason except religious identity. No arrests that created fear. No justice that created deterrence.
Grewal stated that in late December Bajendra Biswas a Hindu and a member of Bangladesh Ansar security forces was shot dead. When even a uniform cannot protect a Hindu then the message is clear Hindus are fair game.
He said that on 31 December 2025 Hindu businessman Khokon Chandra Das was stabbed and his body set on fire. Ending the year by burning a Hindu alive while authorities watched helplessly or worse silently.
Grewal said that 2026 began with blood. On 5 January 2026 Hindu journalist and businessman Rana Pratap Bairagi was shot dead after paying extortion money. This exposed an organized racket of intimidation targeting Hindus.
He further said that on 6 January 2026 Hindu shopkeeper Sarat Chakraborty was hacked to death in his own shop in Narsingdi while serving customers. No dispute. No criminal record. Only Hindu. Murdered openly to spread fear.
Grewal told that at least six confirmed Hindus were killed in less than three weeks. Independent reports indicate up to eleven Hindu deaths within thirty five days. Many more assaults arson cases extortion threats and forced silence remain unreported because victims fear death more than injustice.
He said that these are not isolated incidents. Victims include workers businessmen journalists and even security personnel. Attacks are public brutal and symbolic. Arrests are cosmetic. Justice is slow. Fear is fast.
Grewal said that Bangladesh today is failing its minorities and disgracing humanity. Silence of the state is encouragement. Silence of the world is complicity.
He warned that Hindu families are living like hostages. Shops are shutting. Children are scared. Families are preparing to flee. This is how ethnic cleansing begins.
He said clearly and without apology from Dipu Chandra Das burned alive to Sarat Chakraborty hacked to death this is a blood written indictment of Bangladesh governance.
Grewal demanded that the international community wake up now. Human rights cannot be selective. If this bloodshed continues history will remember not just the killers but those who watched and did nothing.
