Big Breaking: Senior RSS Leader’s Son Shot Dead in Ferozepur
Ferozepur, November 15, 2025: In yet another brazen daylight murder that has shocked Punjab, the son of a senior Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leader was gunned down by unidentified assailants in Ferozepur city this evening, highlighting the state’s deteriorating law and order situation.
According to sources, Navin Arora, son of prominent RSS worker Baldev Raj Arora, was shot multiple times by bike-borne attackers while he was out in the city around 6 PM. The assailants fled the scene, leaving Navin critically injured. He was rushed to a nearby hospital but succumbed to his injuries shortly after.
Baldev Raj Arora, a respected figure in the local RSS circles, has a family legacy tied to the freedom struggle. BJP leaders revealed that Navin’s grandfather, Bau Dinanath, had endured imprisonment during the Emergency era and remained actively involved in RSS activities post-Independence. “This family has served the nation selflessly, and today’s tragedy is a direct assault on our democratic values,” a BJP spokesperson said.
No arrests have been made yet, and the motive remains unclear and it could point to targeted killing. The police is up in arms over and special teams have been formed to track the perpetrators. Ashwani Mehta, President of the local Traders’ Association, condemned the killing, describing Punjab’s law enforcement as “in shambles.” “Open gunfire incidents are becoming the norm, and this murder has created an atmosphere of fear among the trading community. Businesses are shutting early, and people are scared to step out after dark. The government must act decisively to restore peace,” Mehta told reporters.
As the investigation unfolds, the city remains on high alert. Meanwhile the probe is underway and more details are awaited.
