Big Breaking: Three Bambiha gang-linked gangsters arrested in Malaysia

New Delhi, August 24, 2026: Indian security agencies have apprehended three alleged gangsters linked to the Bambiha Gang in Malaysia and deported them to India, where they have been sent to police custody, the Union Home Ministry said.
The fugitives have been identified as Jaspreet Singh, Ajay Singh and Pawandeep Singh. They are accused of involvement in several serious criminal activities, including extortion, cross-border arms and narcotics trafficking, and a foiled grenade attack in Ludhiana.
According to the Home Ministry, the arrests and deportations were carried out as part of efforts by Indian agencies to track down fugitives operating from abroad and bring them back to face legal proceedings in India.
The ministry said that, in 2026 alone, Indian agencies have facilitated the deportation of 51 hardened criminals.
