Breaking: BJP National President releases first list of National office bearers

New Delhi, August 17, 2026: The Bharatiya Janata Party National President Nitin Natbin on Monday announced its new list of office bearers with former Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje Scindia, senior leader Ram Madhav and Punjab's Manpreet Singh Badal among those appointed to the key organisational posts. The appointments were announced by BJP National President Nitin Nabin and take effect immediately.
The complete list of BJP's new National Vice Presidents is:
- Vasundhara Raje Scindia – Rajasthan
- Tirath Singh Rawat – Uttarakhand
- Ram Madhav – Delhi
- Baijayant Jay Panda – Odisha
- D. Purandeshwari – Andhra Pradesh
- Rekha Verma – Uttar Pradesh
- Varshaben Narendrabhai Doshi – Gujarat
- Dr Bharti Pravin Pawar – Maharashtra
- Sardar Manpreet Singh Badal – Punjab
- Lal Singh Arya – Madhya Pradesh
- Prof M. Nagaraja – Karnataka
- Prof Tariq Mansoor – Uttar Pradesh
- Dr Madhuchandra Kar – West Bengal
The appointment of Manpreet Singh Badal gives Punjab representation among the BJP's top national office-bearers. Badal, a former Punjab Finance Minister, joined the BJP in 2023 after leaving the Congress.
The new appointments form part of a wider organisational restructuring announced by BJP president Nitin Nabin. Alongside the 13 Vice Presidents, the party has appointed eight National General Secretaries and 16 National Secretaries, among other office-bearers.
The BJP has also appointed Haryana's Sanjay Bhatia as National General Secretary, while Punjab leader Tarun Chugh has been given charge as Central Office In-charge.
The reshuffle comes ahead of several state Assembly elections and is aimed at strengthening the party's organisational structure and national outreach
