  New Delhi, September 3, 2026: Shri Sandeep Khirwar, IPS (HY:1995), currently serving as Additional Director General (ADG), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), has been appointed Special Director General, CRPF in Level-16 of the Pay Matrix.
  
  He will assume the post from the date of taking charge and continue until his superannuation on May 31, 2033, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
