Canada: Three Punjabis convicted in extortion cases

Toronto, June 12, 2026: Three Punjabi youth have been convicted for their role in extortion cases.
These three have been identified as Harjot Singh, Taranveer Singh and Dayajeet Singh Billing.
They have admitted to their guilt and this is first such case in which individuals have been sentenced for extortion cases.
Surrey Police officer Lindsey Houghton said that this is just a beginning and more such convictions can be seen in coming days.
