Rode (Moga), June 2, 2026: Shiromani Akali Dal Punar Surjit President Giani Harpreet Singh, Shiromani Akali Dal Amritsar President Simranjit Singh Mann, Waris Punjab De leader Bapu Tarsem Singh SGPC members including Karnail Singh Panjoli attended impressive gathering here on occasion of birthday of Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale.
This gathering was organised by Jasbir Singh Rode who declared from the stage that name of next Chief Minister of Punjab will be announced from stage of village Rode. Though he didn’t name Khadoor Sahib MP Amritpal Singh but his announcement was indirectly aimed at his name. It is worth mentioning here that police had arrested Amritpal Singh from Gurdwara Sahib of village Rode when he had fled after attacking Ajnala Police station.
Slogans were raised in name of Sant Jarnail Singh Khalsa Bhindranwale on the occasion. Families of Sikh martyrs were honoured on the occasion.
