Abohar, [24.07.2026]: The newly elected Mayor Pooja Wadhwa , Senior Deputy Mayor Dharmveer Malkat , and Deepak Chhapola Deputy Mayor of the Abohar Municipal Corporation officially assumed charge of their respective offices today.
On the occasion, they were accorded a warm welcome by Municipal Corporation officials, public representatives, and well-wishers. The newly elected dignitaries were felicitated with flower garlands as a mark of respect and congratulations.
The ceremony was attended by senior officials, elected councillors, party leaders, and supporters, who extended their best wishes to the new civic leadership and expressed confidence that they would work for the overall development and welfare of Abohar city.
