Amritsar, August 6, 2026: SGPC President Harjinder Singh Dhami has categorically made it clear that Gurbani telecast from Sri Darbar Sahib is allowed only as per rules and regulations.
Addressing a press conference here today, Dhami said that this is a purely religious issue and some persons were trying to make it political. He said that Gurbani telecast is being done as per rules and regulations governing the issue. He said that we have already applied for our own satellite channel but still waiting for Government of India.
He said that nobody can violate rules and regulations to use the feed on its own.
