Jaganbir Singh Bajwa, a 20-year-old athlete from Chandigarh, has brought international recognition to India and Punjab with an outstanding performance at the Asian Canoe Marathon Championship held in Japan. Jaganbir bagged two bronze medals by delivering impressive performances in both the 3.4 km and 10 km events. Vietnam’s Pham Van Han took first place, Japan’s Uede Shitora secured second, and India’s Jaganbir Singh Bajwa finished third.
Winning two medals at a prestigious Asian-level competition at just 20 years old is testament to his talent, dedication, and continuous training.
