Tricolour lights illuminate Ferozepur Division Railway Stations ahead of 80th Independence Day
Ferozepur, August 13, 2026: Ahead of the 80th Independence Day celebrations, 16 major railway stations under the Ferozepur Division have been illuminated in the colours of the national flag, creating a vibrant patriotic atmosphere for passengers and visitors. Besides, major railway stations across Ferozepur Rail Division are also resonating with patriotic songs as part of the celebrations leading up to Independence Day.
The special tricolour illumination has been arranged from August 12 to 17 at prominent stations including Amritsar, Ludhiana, Jalandhar City, Jalandhar Cantt, Ferozepur Cantt, Fazilka, Phagwara, Moga, Beas and Muktsar, among others.
The beautifully illuminated stations present a striking sight after sunset, with the tricolour lights attracting the attention of passengers as well as local residents. The initiative has added a festive and patriotic touch to the railway premises during the Independence Day celebrations.
