Minor surgery performed on Sukhbir Badal, will remain under observation for 24 hours

Nanded Sahib/Chandigarh, August 13, 2026: A minor surgery has been performed on injured Akali Dal President Sukhbir Singh Badal and he will remain under observation at hospital for next 24 hours.
According to available information in attempt to murder attack, Sukhbir Singh Badal has sustained deep cut on his right arm. Doctors have performed minor surgery and six stiches have been used for cover the wound. Doctors have said that they would keep him under observation for next 24 hours and will decide next course of action tomorrow.
Meanwhile security officer who also suffered injuries in this attack is also out of danger. He belonged to Maharashtra security agencies. He acted swiftly to save Badal in the attack.
