State Information Commissioner of Punjab, Harpreet Sandhu, met with General Officer Commanding, Western Command, Lt Gen Pushpendra Singh, AVSM, SM, at Chandimandir.

During the meeting, Harpreet Sandhu had the privilege of presenting his artwork titled “Peacock – The Glory of India,” which symbolizes the nation's cultural pride. He also shared his coffee table book “Sukhna Lake at Dawn,” which commemorates the 75th anniversary of Chandigarh by celebrating the architectural, cultural, and natural heritage of the city.
Additionally, Sandhu presented his well-regarded research publication, “Wheat Fields of Punjab – The Spirit of Vaisakhi,” highlighting Punjab's agricultural heritage and acknowledging the Indian Army's timeless connection with the land and its people. The exchange underscored a mutual dedication to promoting India's military heritage while honoring Punjab's vibrant cultural and agrarian traditions. This interaction further solidified the enduring bond between the nation's armed forces and its heritage.
