The new executive team of the District Bar Association (DBA), Bathinda, has been elected with Rakesh Kumar Gupta taking over as President and Gurjot Singh Sidhu as Secretary.
The newly elected office-bearers include Hushninder Singh Sidhu Bega as Vice President, Shagamdeep Kaur Sidhu as Vice President (Women), Amandeep Kaur as Joint Secretary and Arshdeep Sharma as Treasurer.
Former Presidents of the District Bar Association, Mohinder Singh Sidhu and Mithu Ram Gupta, welcomed the election of Rakesh Kumar Gupta and the newly elected office-bearers. They congratulated the entire team and expressed hope that the new leadership would work for the welfare of the legal fraternity and further strengthen the functioning and unity of the Bar Association.
The new team is expected to play an important role in strengthening the functioning of the association, promoting the welfare of members of the legal fraternity and taking up issues concerning advocates.
The announcement has been welcomed by members of the DBA, who extended their warm congratulations and best wishes to the newly constituted team. Members expressed hope that the new office-bearers would work with unity, dedication and professionalism to further strengthen the District Bar Association, Bathinda.
