CM Bhagwant Mann’s Relative Amardeep Grewal Released from ED Custody

New Delhi, October 17, 2026: Amardeep Singh Grewal, a relative of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s wife, Dr Gurpreet Kaur, has been released from the custody of the Enforcement Directorate (ED), according to an update reported by Babushahi Network.
Grewal was taken into custody by the ED at Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi on Saturday after he was intercepted under a Look-Out Circular (LOC). He was subsequently brought to the agency’s headquarters for questioning in connection with an alleged bribery case.
The case reportedly concerns an alleged demand for ₹5 crore in connection with an attempt to influence proceedings in a case registered in Mohali. The allegations are under investigation, and no finding of guilt has been established.
Grewal, who is associated with the Punjabi film industry and East Sunshine Production Private Limited, had earlier been summoned by the ED for questioning but reportedly did not appear before the agency.
