Jalandhar, January 21, 2018: A four day Photography Exhibition was organized by Apeejay College of Fine Arts ‘Behind the Doors’ the alumna Chandani Batra. The Event was organized at Virsa Vihar, Jalandhar and Inaugurated by SDM S. Paramvir Singh.
College Principal Dr. Sucharita accorded a floral welcome to the Chief Guest and remarked that Chandani Batra has carved a special niche for herself in the sphere of Photography. Chandani Shared her experiences and told the gathering that her parents played a key role in paving the way for fulfilling her dreams. Further, she told that the photos speak for reality and are not mere inanimate things. The artistic portraits by her are like the emotions speaking for themselves. Interacting with the budding photographers, she explained about the basic tenets of photography and the working of S LR Camera. Paramvir Singh expressing his views remarked that Chandani deserves the credit for this commendable achievement as her artistic journey has been punctuated by struggle yet devotion, dedication and determination. College Principal Dr. Sucharita lauded the efforts of Departments of BFA and Sculpture for successful inauguration of the Event.
The four day Exhibition shall conclude on 23 Jan, 2018. Chandani holds the fame for organizing similar Exhibitions previously at the world-famous Somerset House, Art Gallery, U.K and has also worked with the renowned Sony World Photography Organization as well.
