Breaking: BJP appoints Incharge, Co-incharges for Punjab

Chandigarh, September 23, 2026: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday appointed Dr Satish Poonia as the party’s Punjab In-charge, while Virendra Sachdeva and Dr Alka Gurjar have been appointed as Co-in-charges. The appointments are part of the BJP’s organisational changes covering 36 States and Union Territories.

The party announced the appointments on Wednesday as part of its latest organisational restructuring.
