CGC University hosts Maiden Industry-Integrated Board (IIB), Executive Leadership Dialogue 2026

Mohali (Punjab), September 23, 2026: CGC University Mohali organised its first Industry-Integrated Board (IIB) Executive Leadership Dialogue 2026, bringing together representatives of more than 50 leading companies and organisations to discuss emerging workforce needs and ways to strengthen industry-academia collaboration.
The event was attended by Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, Founder and Chancellor, CGC University Mohali; Arsh Dhaliwal, Managing Director; and Dr Sushil Prashar, Executive Vice President, along with industry representatives and university leadership.
Senior representatives from companies including Capgemini, Mphasis, WNS, GoDaddy, Google, Newgen Software, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Accenture, AU Small Finance Bank, Maruti Suzuki India, SAP, HCLTech, KPMG, IBM, Birlasoft, EY India, Salesforce, Ericsson, Ashok Leyland, Dassault Systèmes, eBay, Odoo and Reliance Brands, among others, participated in the dialogue.
The discussions focused on the changing talent landscape, emerging employment sectors and the skills required by future professionals. Industry leaders also shared their views on evolving employer expectations, technology trends, practical and experiential learning, and existing and future skill gaps.
A key focus of the dialogue was aligning the university’s curriculum with current and emerging industry requirements. Participants discussed opportunities for structured collaboration in internships, live projects, industry-integrated learning, professional certifications, mentorship, Centres of Excellence, research, innovation and placements.
Industry delegates also identified future workforce trends and discussed priority areas and actionable measures for the Industry-Integrated Board.
Speaking at the event, Arsh Dhaliwal, Managing Director, CGC University Mohali, said that bridging the gap between education and industry was essential in a rapidly changing technological environment.
He said the dialogue reflected the university’s commitment to equipping students not only with academic knowledge but also with practical skills to address real-world challenges.
