Ludhiana (Punjab), October 7, 2026: Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) Senior Leader and Advocate Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal Bhukhri Kalan paid his heartfelt, loving and respectful tribute to the party’s founder, legendary leader and former Union Minister Late Shri Ram Vilas Paswan Ji, saying that 8 October is not merely a date, but a solemn remembrance of a great leader whose entire life was dedicated to public service, social justice and the welfare of the poor, deprived and marginalized.
Grewal said that Late Shri Ram Vilas Paswan Ji made struggle his strength, public service his commitment and the voice of the deprived his mission. He said that Paswan Ji raised the concerns of ordinary citizens in Parliament and consistently stood for equality, dignity, social justice and inclusive development.
Grewal wrote on his social media accounts, particularly on X, “On the solemn occasion of his Nirvan Diwas, I, along with Punjabis across the world, bow with utmost respect at the feet of Late Shri Ram Vilas Paswan Ji and offer my heartfelt tribute and deepest respects. His life, ideals and contribution to society will continue to inspire generations.”
Grewal particularly expressed his sincere appreciation and respect for Honorable Union Minister for Food Processing Industries and National President of Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), Shri Chirag Paswan Ji, saying that he is carrying forward the legacy and ideals of his respected father with dedication, sincerity and determination.
He said, “The greatest tribute to Ram Vilas Paswan Ji is not merely to remember him, but to follow the path shown by him. Whether we are in government, hold any public position, work in a political or social organization, or remain engaged in our family lives, service to society must always remain our first and highest priority.”
Grewal said that Paswan Ji’s message remains especially relevant that India must never be divided in the name of caste, religion or community. He said that Late Paswan Ji believed that politics must ultimately serve the people by strengthening the nation, creating opportunities, promoting economic development and ensuring dignity for every citizen.
Recalling Paswan Ji’s deep compassion for the poor, Grewal said that his words about the love found in the humble homes of poor families reflected his extraordinary understanding of ordinary people and their struggles.
“Late Ram Vilas Paswan Ji did not merely speak about social justice; he lived it. He gave a political voice and platform to millions who had remained unheard for generations. His contribution will always remain an important part of India’s democratic and social history,” Grewal said.
Grewal further said that Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) remains a living political tribute to the vision and ideals of its founder. He expressed his appreciation for Shri Chirag Paswan Ji for carrying forward his respected father’s legacy and expressed confidence in his continued efforts for the poor, deprived, youth and every section of society.
