Punjab BJP appoints five State General Secretaries

Chandigarh, August 2, 2026: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Punjab, has appointed five leaders as State General Secretaries as part of its newly announced state office-bearers’ team.
The appointments were announced by Punjab BJP president Sardar Kewal Singh Dhillon with the approval of the party’s national president, Nitin Nabin.
The newly appointed State General Secretaries are:
Anil Sarin (Ludhiana), Rajesh Bagha (Jalandhar), Parminder Singh Brar (Mohali), Rajnish Dhiman (Ludhiana) and Jiwan Garg (Sangrur).

The appointments are part of a wider organisational restructuring aimed at strengthening the BJP’s presence across Punjab and expanding the party’s outreach ahead of future political and electoral responsibilities.
Congratulating the newly appointed office-bearers, Dhillon expressed confidence that the new team would work with dedication and discipline to further strengthen the party’s organisational structure across the state. He said the office-bearers would play an important role in taking the BJP’s policies and programmes to different sections of society and preparing the organisation for upcoming challenges.
