Breaking: Punjabi University gets new VC

Chandigarh, 19 May 2025- Punjabi University Patiala has got a new Vice Chancellor. The Punjab Governor has appointed Dr. Jagdeep Singh as the VC of Punjabi University Patiala. He is currently posted as Registrar in Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISER). He has also been the Registrar of Central University before this. Dr. Jagdeep Singh is a resident of Faridkot district. It may be recalled that even before this, the VC of this university, Prof. Arvind, had come on deputation from (IISER).
