Mansa (Punjab), February 11, 2026: The parents of slain singer Shubhdeep Singh, popularly known as Sidhu Moosewala, staged a protest at the SSP office in Mansa on Wednesday, demanding action in connection with alleged financial irregularities involving their late son’s earnings.
Balkaur Singh, Moosewala’s father, alleged that the Mansa Police have not registered an FIR despite his complaint regarding the misuse of money generated from Sidhu Moosewala’s social media accounts.
He named the singer’s manager Bunty Bains, along with Subir Mumen and Gurpreet Singh, as individuals involved in the alleged fraud.
“Our son is gone, and now they are trying to snatch his earnings too,” Balkaur Singh said, accusing the police of being hand-in-glove with the accused.
During the protest, Balkaur Singh and his wife Charan Kaur sat on the floor of the SSP office for nearly 45 minutes before being called in to meet the DIG and SSP.
The parents demanded immediate registration of an FIR and strict action against those allegedly misappropriating funds from their late son’s estate.
