Ferozepur, May 17, 2026:
The Naman Centre (Veteran Assistance Centre) established in Ferozepur Cantonment is emerging as a significant and reliable support facility for ex-servicemen, war widows, widows, and differently-abled veterans. The centre is located at the Golden Arrow Sports Institute Complex behind Gandhi Garden.
The centre provides regular services from Tuesday to Sunday between 9 am and 5 pm. Every Monday, specially designated outreach teams organize camps in villages across Ferozepur, Sri Muktsar Sahib, Fazilka, Tarn Taran, and Moga districts on a rotational basis to ensure that veterans and senior ex-servicemen living in remote areas also receive necessary assistance and services.
All ex-servicemen and their dependents visiting the centre are provided free services related to SPARSH, PPO, Digital Life Certificate updates, CSD cards, and ECHS cards. Pension-related matters, new card applications, updates, and other essential procedures are handled in a simple, transparent, and speedy manner, helping veterans avoid unnecessary complications.
For further information or any assistance related to ex-servicemen welfare, people may contact the helpline number 90564-07627.
The initiative by the Golden Arrow Division is being widely appreciated as a meaningful step towards the welfare, dignity, and empowerment of veterans. The Veteran Assistance Centre is not only providing services but also reflecting a deep sense of respect and commitment towards former soldiers.
