  Mumbai, July 17, 2026: Bollywood Superstar Aamir Khan has made it clear that his film 2 Idiots was not based on life of Ladakh leader Sonam Wangchuk.
  
  At a public event, Aami Khan said that neither he nor the writer of the film was aware about Sonam Wangchuk when film was being made. He said that what his co-star Chatur (Omi Vaidya) said about the film being based on life of Sonam Wangchuk is incorrect.
  
  Aamir Khan also extended his moral support to Wangchuk and urged him to stop his fast.
