Abohar Mayor Election to Be Held at DC Office, Fazilka Tomorrow: Deputy Commissioner

Fazilka/Abohar, July 20, 2026:
Deputy Commissioner, Fazilka, Amarpreet Kaur Sandhu, informed that the election for the Mayor of Abohar will be conducted tomorrow, Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at the Deputy Commissioner's Office, Fazilka.
She further stated that to facilitate the smooth conduct of the mayoral election process, two Seva Kendras and one Fard Kendra in Fazilka city will remain closed on July 21, 2026. One of the Seva Kendras is located adjacent to the SDM Office, while the other is situated at the Municipal Committee premises.
The Deputy Commissioner also informed that the election will be conducted under the supervision of Senior Advocate Sandeep Goyal, who has been appointed as the Observer by the Punjab and Haryana High Court. She added that all necessary arrangements have been made to ensure the election process is conducted in a smooth, transparent, and orderly manner
