Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and former senior bureaucrat Param Pal Kaur Sidhu has significantly stepped up her political outreach across the Bathinda Lok Sabha constituency, emerging as one of the party's most active faces in the region through a series of public interactions, social engagements, and grassroots programmes.
Over the past several weeks, Param Pal Kaur Sidhu has been travelling extensively across both urban and rural areas of the constituency, attending community gatherings, social functions, religious events, meetings with local residents, and organizational programmes. Her growing presence at village-level events has attracted considerable public attention, with party workers describing the campaign as a sustained effort to strengthen the BJP's grassroots network ahead of future political challenges.
Speaking with Amrit Pal Sidhu, Param Pal Kaur Sidhu expressed confidence about the response she has been receiving from the people.
"We are receiving tremendous support and affection in the rural areas wherever we go. The warmth shown by the people reflects their desire for transparent governance, development, and inclusive politics. Their encouragement inspires us to work even harder for every section of society," she said.
Known for her administrative experience and disciplined public service before entering active politics, Param Pal Kaur Sidhu has built her political campaign around direct public interaction and extensive grassroots engagement. Her outreach particularly focuses on connecting with women, youth, farmers, professionals, and first-time voters while strengthening the BJP's organizational structure across the constituency.
Political observers note that her campaign places special emphasis on women's participation in public life. Through meetings with women's groups, self-help organizations, social workers, and community leaders, she has consistently highlighted issues relating to women's empowerment, education, entrepreneurship, healthcare, and social security.
Party workers accompanying her during the outreach programmes say the response from rural communities has been encouraging, with increasing participation in meetings and public interactions. They believe her administrative background and accessible style of leadership have helped her establish a strong rapport with residents across different sections of society.
Param Pal Kaur Sidhu reiterated that the BJP remains committed to strengthening its presence at the grassroots level through continuous public engagement rather than limiting interaction to election campaigns.
"Our objective is to remain connected with the people throughout the year, understand their concerns, and work collectively towards the development of Punjab. Every visit, every interaction, and every dialogue strengthens our commitment to public service," she added.
Param Pal Kaur Sidhu also announced that Punjab BJP President Kewal Singh Dhillon will visit Talwandi Sabo on July 29, where he will address a large party meeting as part of the BJP's ongoing organizational outreach in the Malwa region.
She further informed that before addressing the gathering, Kewal Singh Dhillon will pay obeisance and seek blessings at Takhat Sri Damdama Sahib one of Sikhism's five Takhts. She said the visit reflects the party leadership's commitment to maintaining close ties with the people while respecting Punjab's rich spiritual and cultural heritage
With her extensive tours covering different parts of the Bathinda Lok Sabha constituency, Param Pal Kaur Sidhu continues to reinforce the BJP's organizational outreach by engaging directly with citizens, community organizations, and local leadership. Political circles view her sustained public connect and women-focused grassroots campaign as an important component of the party's broader strategy to expand its footprint across the region.
