Mohali (Punjab), August 30, 2026: The Sher-e-Punjab T20 League was inaugurated in Mohali on Sunday, marking the start of a new T20 cricket tournament in Punjab. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann attended the inaugural ceremony as the league got underway.
The opening match of the tournament is being played between Amritsar Surmaaz and Mohali Kings, drawing attention from cricket fans as the league begins its first season.
The tournament aims to provide a competitive platform to emerging cricketers from Punjab and give local talent an opportunity to showcase their skills in the fast-paced T20 format.
