125 year old Mandir demolished in Narowal in Pakistan, ETPB says structure collapsed due to rain

Chandigarh/Lahore, September 2, 2026: A 125 year old Mandir was demolished in village Siraj of Narowal district in Pakistan to make way for extension of Madrassa situated nearby. But surprisingly Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) which manages religious structures has claimed that structure was collapsed due to rain.
Minority community has protested against this ‘demolition’ which has come at a time when already demolition of a Gurdwara Sahib is already in controversy. It is alleged that Gurdwara was demolished to make way for a Mall. Now come has this development demolition of a Mandir to make way for extension of Madrassa.
ETPB has also claimed that Minister Ramesh Singh Arora has already visited place and took stock of the situation.
