  Ludhiana, September 9, 2026: Members of SC/Dalit community have called for 7 hour Ludhiana bandh today from 9.00 AM to 4.00 to protest against desecration and disrespect to statue of Dr. BR Ambedkar.
  
  Protestors have blocked Jalandhar byepass road and many other crucial point resulting in heavy traffic chaos.
  
  Advisories have been issued for commuters to take alternative routes.
