Delhi MP Ramvir Singh Bidhuri apologizes to Jathedar for visiting residence of Sajjan Kumar

Amritsar/New Delhi, September 11, 2026: South Delhi MP Ramvir Singh Bidhuri has apologized to Akal Takht Jathedar for visiting residence of guilty of 1984 Sikh genocide Sajjan Kumar after his demise.
In a letter written to Jathedar Giani Kuldeep Singh Gadgaj, Bidhuri said that he had visited residence of Sajjan Kumar to share grief with the family but felt it was his mistake.
He said that he had always opposed the guilty of 1984 Sikh genocide and even was a part of 1993 delegation which submitted memorandum to President seeking action against Sajjan Kumar and HKL Bhagat for their role in Sikh genocide. He also cites his involvement in service in different Gurdwaras in his area.
He appealed Jathedar to forgive him for the mistake he has committed.
