Nitin Nabin hits back at CM Mann: “I won’t respond to CM Mann; Punjab people will”

Pathankot (Punjab), September 18, 2026: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president Nitin Nabin on Friday said he would not respond to Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s recent remarks, asserting that the people of Punjab would give their response.
Nabin made the remarks while speaking to the media during his visit to Pathankot for the BJP’s anti-drug campaign. “I have nothing to say in response to Bhagwant Mann. The people of Punjab will answer him,” Nabin said.
His statement came a day after Mann criticised leaders visiting Punjab from Delhi, alleging that they arrive with turbans in their vehicles and try to “fool” the people of Punjab.
Responding to Mann’s remarks, Nabin reiterated that he would not engage in a direct response and said the people of Punjab would decide how to respond to the Chief Minister’s comments.
