Holiday Alert: Holiday declared in this Punjab district on Sept 23

Faridkot (Punjab), September 22, 2026: The Faridkot district administration has declared a local holiday on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, on the occasion of Baba Sheikh Farid Ji’s Aagman Purab-2026.
As per the orders issued by the Deputy Commissioner (DC), all government offices, government educational institutions, Sewa Kendras and Fard Kendras in Faridkot district will remain closed on September 23.
However, the holiday will not apply to educational institutions and examination centres where examinations have already been scheduled for the day.
