  Breaking: SIT summons Majithia for questioning in Rs 6,000-crore drug case

  Chandigarh, September 30, 2026: The Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the ₹6,000-crore drug case has issued a notice to Shiromani Akali Dal leader Bikram Singh Majithia, asking him to appear for questioning on October 5.
  
  Drug case convict Jagdish Bhola has also been summoned by the SIT for questioning on the same day.
  
  The development has raised the possibility that Majithia and Bhola could be questioned face-to-face for the first time as part of the investigation.
  
  Further details are awaited.
