Breaking: PRTC bus-truck collision near Doraha on National Highway, contractor killed

Doraha (Punjab), September 30, 2026: A PRTC bus and a truck collided on the National Highway near Doraha on Wednesday, resulting in the death of the bus conductor.
The collision was reportedly severe, leaving both vehicles heavily damaged. The impact also triggered panic among passengers travelling in the bus.
Passersby and local residents rushed to the spot and helped rescue people who were trapped inside the bus.
On receiving information about the accident, a police team reached the site. The conductor’s body was taken into custody and sent to a hospital for post-mortem examination.
The damaged vehicles were subsequently removed from the road and traffic was restored. Police are investigating the circumstances that led to the collision.
