New Delhi, July 21, 2025 — Suhani Shah has created history by becoming the first Indian female mentalist to win an award at the prestigious FISM World Championship of Magic, held in Italy. She was honoured with the title of ‘Best Magic Creator’, marking a proud moment for India on the global stage.
Suhani’s international recognition soared following her stunning performance on Australia's renowned TV show The Project.
In a widely circulated segment, she amazed viewers by accurately guessing a presenter’s phone passcode and revealing another host’s secret crush using her exceptional mentalist abilities. The performance made her a global internet sensation.
Born on January 29, 1990, in Udaipur, Rajasthan, Suhani grew up in a Marwari family with no formal ties to the world of magic.
Her dream to become a magician began at the age of six, a rare and bold ambition for a young Indian girl at the time. Her father, a magician himself, played a pivotal role in nurturing her talent and passion for the art.
Today, Suhani is not only a respected mentalist but also a motivational speaker and performer who uses psychology, suggestion, and intuition in her acts. Her victory at FISM cements her status as a trailblazer and a powerful inspiration to performers, especially women, around the world.
