The Punjab government has appointed IPS officer Dr Sharad Satya Chauhan as Special DGP cum-Chief Director of Vigilance.

Dr. Sharad Satya Chauhan, IPS (RR:1992): Formerly the Special DGP-cum-Managing Director of the Punjab Police Housing Corporation, he has been appointed as Special DGP-cum-Chief Director, Vigilance Bureau, Punjab, SAS Nagar, replacing Sh. P.K. Sinha.

Sh. Ram Singh, IPS (RR:1994): Currently serving as Special DGP, Technical Support Services, he will now also take on the additional responsibilities of Special DGP-cum-Commandant General, Punjab Home Guards and Director, Civil Defence, Punjab.

Sh. P.K. Sinha, IPS (RR:1994): Moving from the Vigilance Bureau, he has been appointed as OSD/Law & Order, Punjab, Chandigarh until April 30, 2026. Following the superannuation of Sh. Arpit Shukla on that date, he will officially take over as Special DGP, Law & Order, Punjab on May 1, 2026.

Sh. Arun Pal Singh, IPS (RR:1997): Transitioning from his role as ADGP, Jails, he has been posted as Managing Director, Punjab Police Housing Corporation, SAS Nagar, in place of Dr. S.S. Chauhan.

Sh. R.K. Jaiswal, IPS (RR:1997): Currently the ADGP, NRI, SAS Nagar, he has been reassigned as ADGP NRI, Punjab, SAS Nagar, with the additional charge of ADGP Jails, Punjab, Chandigarh, replacing Sh. Arun Pal Singh.
