Transfer Breaking: Nine PSS Cadre officers transferred

Chandigarh, October 30, 2026: The Punjab Government has ordered the transfer and posting of nine Punjab Secretariat Service (PSS) cadre officers holding the rank of Superintendent, with immediate effect.
The orders have been issued by the Department of General Administration, Secretariat Services-I Branch, and signed by Chief Secretary K.A.P. Sinha.
As per the notification, the following changes have been made:
- Naveen Sharma has been posted as Administrative Officer-I in the Health-5 Branch, replacing Sukhwinder Singh.
- Surjit Singh has been transferred from the Establishment-1 Branch to the Science, Technology and Environment Branch.
- Sukhbir Kaur has been shifted from the Establishment-1 Branch to the Establishment-2 Branch.
- Lokesh Kumar has been transferred from the Establishment-2 Branch to the Accounts-3 Branch.
- Iftikhar Ahmed has been posted as Superintendent in the Accounts-3 Branch.
- Manpreet Singh, following his promotion, has been posted to the Subordinate Services Selection Board.
- Simarpreet Kaur Chahal has been transferred from the Lotteries Department to the Vigilance-4 Branch.
- Harsimran Singh, following his promotion, has been posted to the Establishment-5 Branch, replacing Sarabjit Singh.
- Sarabjit Singh has been transferred from the Establishment-5 Branch to the Lotteries Department.
The government has directed all officers to join their new places of posting immediately.
