  Harpal Cheema to High Court: Don’t break hearts of 3 crore Punjabis in BBMB dispute

  Chandigarh, May 5, 2025:As the Bhakra Beas Management Board (BBMB) approached the Punjab and Haryana High Court against the Punjab government, Finance Minister Harpal Cheema made an emotional appeal in the state assembly.
  
  He urged the court to consider the unity of all political parties on the issue and respect Punjab's sentiments.
  
  "I request the High Court not to deliver any verdict against Punjab that would hurt the hearts of 3 crore Punjabis," Cheema stated, emphasizing the collective stand of the state's political factions.
