PNB officials provide relief in flood-hit Ferozepur villages
Ferozepur, September 8, 2025: In a compassionate gesture amid the ongoing flood crisis in Punjab, officials from Punjab National Bank (PNB) visited flood-affected villages in Ferozepur to distribute food and drinking water to residents grappling with the aftermath of the disaster.
Leading the initiative was Ravneet Singh, Assistant General Manager, PNB Zonal Office, Ludhiana, accompanied by Mrs. Geeta Mehta, Lead District Manager (LDM), Ferozepur; Ashwini Garg, Branch Head, PNB Sant Lal Road, Ferozepur; and other team members. The outreach was part of PNB’s broader commitment to social responsibility and community support during times of crisis.
During the visit, Ravneet Singh engaged directly with local residents, listened to their concerns, and assured them of continued assistance from the bank. He reaffirmed PNB’s dedication, stating - “PNB remains committed to fulfilling its social responsibility and supporting the communities it serves.”
The initiative comes as floods continue to wreak havoc across Punjab, with thousands displaced and farmlands submerged. PNB’s timely intervention has brought much-needed relief to affected families in Ferozepur, reinforcing the bank’s role not just as a financial institution, but as a pillar of community resilience.
