Ajmer, Rajasthan, September 25, 2025: As part of the nationwide Sewa Pakhwada observance, the Indian Minorities Federation marked Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 75th birthday with a special dua at the shrine of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti and a 4,800‑kg vegetarian langar prepared in the Dargah Sharif’s Big Shahi Deg for thousands of devotees. Led by IMF convener and Rajya Sabha MP Satnam Singh Sandhu, the delegation offered a ceremonial chadar and prayed for the Prime Minister’s health, long life, and continued leadership, while seeking blessings for India’s peace, progress, and the 2047 Viksit Bharat vision.
During the ziyarat, Gaddi Nasheen Syed Fakhre Moin Chishty said the gathering prayed for the nation’s unity and development, noting that inter‑faith harmony and the message of service underpin the community’s outreach. MP Satnam Singh Sandhu termed the effort an affirmation of inclusive growth, stating that welfare initiatives over the past decade have emphasised opportunities for all communities and partnership in nation‑building.
Khuddam‑e‑Khawaja representatives and community members—including Sayed Zahoor Baba Chishti, Sayed Afshan Chishti, Sayed Amaan Chishti, and volunteers such as Farzana and Hasan Abbasi—joined the dua, expressing hopes for sustained public welfare, relief from economic burdens, and continued social empowerment. The langar, comprising rice cooked with pure ghee and dry fruits, was prepared after the ceremonial lighting of the Shahi Deg and distributed to pilgrims and visitors at the shrine.
The preparation and service were supported by dargah leaders and local organisations, with participants invoking the shrine’s tradition of “love, compassion, and service” and urging citizens to contribute through community kitchens, cleanliness drives, and public‑spirited activities aligned to Sewa Pakhwada.
