Amritsar Police raided residence of Akali Dal leader at 2.30 AM on basis of false case : Sukhbir Badal

Chandigarh, June 4, 2026: Amritsar Police has raided residence of the Shiromani Akali Dal B.C. Wing, City President of Sri Amritsar Sahib and Councillor S. Inderjeet Singh Pandori was subjected to a police raid at his residence at 2:30 AM on the basis of a false case filed against him under political enmity, and his family was harassed and troubled. This was claimed by party President Sukhbir Singh Badal in a tweet.
He said that the Aam Aadmi Party government and police were resorting to every possible tactic to suppress Akali workers, but Akali leaders and workers will not bow down to these.
He said that when the Shiromani Akali Dal government will come to power, the officials responsible for filing false cases will not be spared.
Previously, the Hon'ble High Court had reprimanded the AAP government for the illegal arrest of Jobanpreet Singh, and now they are harassing and troubling our other leaders. The Shiromani Akali Dal stands with its workers and will fight every battle for them.
