Public Grievances Being Resolved Effectively at the Grassroots Through Public Interaction Programmes: Mandeep K Ramgharia

Punjab Ramgharia Welfare Board Senior Vice Chairman and Municipal Commissioner of Bathinda Municipal Corporation on Sunday evening said that the public interaction initiatives launched by Bhagwant Singh Mann have emerged as an effective mechanism for improving citizen services and ensuring prompt resolution of public issues. She stated that these programmes are helping the government address problems at the grassroots level and strengthen direct engagement with the people.
Mandeep Ramgharia said that the Punjab Government is making continuous efforts to ensure the welfare of every section of society and provide better facilities to citizens. She highlighted that several people-centric initiatives have been undertaken in key sectors such as education, healthcare, employment, infrastructure development and social security.
Mandeep Kaur further stated that while the government has strengthened healthcare services through the establishment of Aam Aadmi Clinics across the state, it has also implemented the Chief Minister Health Scheme to provide cashless treatment up to Rs 10 lakh, significantly reducing the financial burden and anxiety associated with medical treatment for citizens.
She said that the state government has launched the Maaan-Dhiyan Satkar Scheme to ensure the welfare and economic empowerment of women. Under the scheme, eligible women belonging to the general category will receive Rs 1,000 per month, while women from the Scheduled Caste category will receive Rs 1,500 per month.
Mandeep Kaur Ramgharia reiterated that the Punjab Government remains committed to public welfare and the overall development of the state, adding that the ongoing pace of development and welfare initiatives will continue in the coming years as well.
