Punjab BJP appoints 12 State Vice Presidents; List Inside

Chandigarh, August 2, 2026: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Punjab, has appointed 12 leaders as State Vice Presidents as part of its newly announced team of state office-bearers.
The appointments were announced by Punjab BJP president Sardar Kewal Singh Dhillon with the approval of the party’s national president, Nitin Nabin.

The newly appointed State Vice Presidents are Surjit Kumar Jyani (Fazilka), Rakesh Rathour (Jalandhar), Subhash Sharma (SAS Nagar), Manjit Singh Rai (Ferozepur), Ashwani Sekhri (Batala), Sushil Rinku (Jalandhar), Geja Ram Valmiki (Fatehgarh Sahib), Tejinder Singh Bittu (Jalandhar), Jasmine Sandhawalia (Kapurthala), Jatinder Mittal (Ludhiana), Ravi Karan Singh Kahlon (Gurdaspur) and Ranjit Singh Gill (Mohali).
The appointments are part of the BJP’s broader organisational restructuring in Punjab, aimed at strengthening the party’s structure and expanding its outreach across the state.
Congratulating the newly appointed office-bearers, Dhillon expressed confidence that the new team would work with dedication, discipline and commitment to further strengthen the party’s organisation. He said the newly appointed leaders would play an important role in taking the party’s policies and programmes to different sections of society and preparing the organisation for future political and electoral responsibilities.
