  Chandigarh, August 3, 2026: The Punjab Vidhan Sabha was adjourned till the afternoon amid protests by Congress members, who demanded the resignation of minister Harjot Singh Bains over various issues.
  
  The Congress MLAs raised slogans and continued their protest inside the House, leading to the adjournment of the proceedings.
