Chandigarh, August 6, 2026: Led by leader of Opposition Partap Singh Bajwa wearing black bands protested against AAP government outside Vidhan Sabha.
They were demanding action in Bargari sacrilege incident. When senior leader Pargat Singh was talking to media, AAP MLA Manvinder Singh Giaspura tried to intervene and present side of AAP government. Pargat Singh retorted that they had promise delivery of Justice in a matter of days but now around 5 years have passed and nothing has been done and all the cases have been transferred outside Punjab.
