Sukhbir Badal fails to appears before SIT in Behbal Kalan firing case, cites medical condition

Chandigarh, September 11, 2026: In a surprising turn of events, Akali Dal President Sukhbir Singh Badal failed to turn up before SIT probing Behbal Kalan firing case and sacrilege cases citing medical grounds and sought time after September 30.
Talking to media Chief Spokesman of the party and Legal Cell Chairman Arshdeep Singh Kler and Senior leader Bunty Romana said that Sukhbir Badal has to undergo medical examination today. They said that he has already demanded written questionnaire and this demanded was repeated today before SIT.
They accused AAP government of playing politics on the issue.
