Babushahi Bureau
Chandigarh, September 18, 2026: The Haryana Skill Development and Industrial Training Department has extended the deadlines for on-the-spot admissions against vacant seats under the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) and State Council for Vocational Training (SCVT) for the 2026-27 academic session.
The extended admission schedule applies to all government and private Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) across Haryana.
According to an official spokesperson, candidates can now seek admission against vacant NCVT seats until September 22, 2026, while the deadline for vacant SCVT seats is September 29, 2026. The admission process will be conducted at the respective ITI level.
Fresh online applications are being invited through the department’s admission portal. Candidates will be considered on the basis of a combined merit list comprising fresh as well as earlier applicants. No reservation will be applicable for these admissions.
Candidates seeking admission to a particular ITI must submit their merit card at the concerned institute by 12 noon on the respective admission date.
Applicants are required to appear personally at the institute with their original certificates and pay the admission fee online at the time of admission. Merit cards can be downloaded from the admission portal, which also provides institute-wise information on vacant seats.
The department clarified that admissions already granted under NCVT will not be cancelled on the basis of admissions made under the extended on-the-spot process.
All other rules and conditions specified in the prospectus for the 2026-27 session will remain unchanged.
