Shaheed Bhagat Singh Birth Anniversary: CM Mann pays tribute, joins ‘Jashan-e-Inquilab’ at PAU

Chandigarh, September 28, 2026: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Monday paid tribute to Shaheed-e-Azam Sardar Bhagat Singh on his birth anniversary, remembering his sacrifice and revolutionary ideas as a lasting source of inspiration for the youth.
In a post on X, Mann said he paid his heartfelt respects to the great hero of India’s freedom struggle on his birth anniversary.
Mann said Shaheed Bhagat Singh’s unparalleled sacrifice and ideas would continue to inspire the younger generation, and concluded his message with “Inquilab Zindabad.”
The Chief Minister also shared live updates from the ‘Jashan-e-Inquilab’ programme being held at Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), Ludhiana, to mark the birth anniversary of Shaheed Bhagat Singh.
Bhagat Singh was born on September 28, 1907, and remains one of the most prominent figures associated with India’s freedom struggle. His birth anniversary is observed across Punjab and other parts of the country in remembrance of his contribution and sacrifice.
